Craigtoun Country Park is a family-oriented country park near St Andrews, Fife. They offer a range of seasonal events, attractions, year-round facilities and membership options.
The challenge
Accommodate multiple event types and venue hire options on one user-friendly digital platform.
From family attractions like a boating lake and crazy golf to seasonal events and party venue hire, Craigtoun Country Park offers a wide range of activities all with different booking requirements. They needed an online booking system with the flexibility to accommodate many distinct specifications, as well as managing facility availability and handling online payments and ticketing.
The solution
A bespoke digital platform with the flexibility to integrate diverse event booking requirements.
We built a digital booking platform that allows customers to book and pay for the many events, venue hire and membership options that Craigtoun offers. Unlike off-the-shelf booking software, our bespoke solution allows different information to be collected for different types of events.
As well as improving customer experience, the platform has made internal processes more efficient by moving them online and into one place. Staff can now easily access calendars, see up-to-date availability and manage digital (rather than paper-based) ticketing.
